In 1996, Ken Bubser founded Air Temp — the third generation of a family that has worked in HVAC and mechanical engineering since the 1960s. Before Air Temp, Ken ran his first company, “Cal,” named after his two children — the same promise, a different sign on the truck. He named this one “Air Temp” for a simple reason: back when phone books ruled, it landed him right at the top of the listings. But it was his refusal to upsell or cut corners that kept those same neighbors calling back.
Nearly three decades later, Air Temp is still family-run — Ken as president, with his family’s values in every service call. We never grew out of the values we started with: show up when we say we will, tell you the truth about your system, and never sell you something you don't need.
